Second Annual Golf Foundation

Our second fund raiser, a golf tournament held at Avondale Gold Course during the month of August 2007 was a resounding success. Actor Burton Gilliam generously donated his time and efforts to make this a successful event that netted in excess of $22,000.00 to the Foundation. Additionally, we saw an overwhelming response from Kootenai County based businesses and civic organizations, who played in the tournament and/or donated items for the auction. We were fortunate to open the tournament by an appearance US Army Special Forces personnel who parachuted onto the Avondale Golf course to start the golf tournament.

A special thanks to our volunteers and their efforts throughout the day. Thanks to all of you for a job well done.

Mark your calendars now for the next Golf Tournament date
on August 15, 2008, at Avondale Golf Course in Hayden Lake
